Double-blinded, placebo-controlled, double-dose randomized, double-dummy, active-controlled, double-dose, randomized, active-controlled study was carried out in 40 patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. Celecoxib and Celebrex were evaluated for the reduction of pain and tenderness, respectively, in patients with postoperative pain after percutaneous coronary intervention. Patients with acute pain after coronary artery bypass surgery, patients with stable angina, and patients with postoperative pain after coronary angiography were treated with celecoxib and/or celecoxib.
